Toshiba announced on Tuesday that it is launching a program that will allow owners of its mobile computers and technology products from other manufacturers to trade in those products to purchase new Toshiba technology.

Toshiba will accept most desktops, notebooks, monitors, servers, printers and handhelds for a trade-in. Customers can go to a Toshiba Web site to get a quote on the value of their products then provide Toshiba with a proof of purchase of their new Toshiba products to get a redemption check within 30 days. Customer will have to ship their pre-owned equipment to Toshiba, but the company will pay for the shipping.
